About this product
The Heatter B8 TaylorFit fairway wood set includes three clubs: a #3, #5, and #7 wood, all with steel stiff shafts and standard men's length. These right-handed clubs are designed for male golfers seeking a complete fairway wood set. The set is new and comes from the Custom-made brand, offering a coordinated set of fairway woods for various distances.
Our take
This set's main trade-off is the stiff steel shafts, which demand a faster swing speed and may punish slower swingers with reduced launch. However, the included #3, #5, and #7 lofts cover a wide range of fairway distances, making it a versatile addition for a mid-to-low handicap player. The steel shafts offer durability and control, but they are heavier than graphite, potentially affecting swing tempo. This set suits golfers who prefer a traditional feel and have a consistent, powerful swing. Those with slower swing speeds or seeking more forgiveness might find graphite shafts or hybrid clubs more forgiving. Overall, it's a solid option for players confident in their ball-striking.
